Parking on double yellow lines and blocking pavement., 4th September
Vehicles continually park on the double yellow line on King Lane. This happens daily outside of the Cooplands shop. This particular vehicle was also blocking the pavement. Other vehicles also park up on the pavement each day. Ample parking is available for vehicles in the car park over the road and on the parking area immediately outside the shops. This driver chose to ignore both parking locations.

Traffic lights do not change when my bicycle waits at red light, 29th April
I think these lights must be fitted with a metal detecting sensor. If I wait at them on my bicycle and there are no cars waiting, then they do not change from red. Almost as soon as a car pulls up they change.

Leylandii confers planted down edge of service road are out of control, 15th January
Leylandii conifers planted by owner occupiers of 7 Woodstock Close block the sight line for drivers entering and leaving the service road (adopted highway). The danger relates not only to drivers but pedestrians using this service road which does not have a pavement. The leylandii are bushy and at least 4 metres in height. In my view the leylandii should be removed from this position and replaced with a 1 metre high fence.

Overspill parking for golden acre park for 400 yards northwards on both sides of the road is creating a road safety issue by sqeezing the traffic flow to dangerous levels near the bend., 15th November
Also residents are unable to exit their driveways safely without endanging both themselves and passing vehicles. This was reported to LCC on 31/7/20 via ' road markings or signing request ' ID 2863164.There was already a problem at the location.Now much worse due to increased use of the park since March ; with greater emphasis on exercise and health it can expected to continue.

Request for road mirror to be installed on Adel Lane, 5th September
When coming out of our street (Adel Grange Close) and joining Adel Lane, we can see traffic coming up Adel Lane, but pulling out 'blind', to traffic coming down Adel Lane. There were speed ramps installed on Adel Lane a few years ago, but these don't seem too have stopped cars speeding. Can I put in a request to have a convex road mirror installed on the opposite side of the road, to check for cars coming down Adel Lane, when pulling out of Adel Grange Close please?

Dead branches fallen from tree and rubbish left by northern gas networks, 27th January
Wind has blown down branches from a dead tree and Northern gas networks have left their rubbish even though they are no longer working on The Avenue.
