Bike at bottom of embankment, 14th March
A push bike is in the ditch off the roundabout. Not sure if it's been stolen and dumped, or flytipped. But it's clearly been thrown off the path down the embankment.

Traffic Lights Causing Build up of Traffic, 3rd October
I believe the traffic light sequence has been changed at the Sainsbury's junction, and or the Selby Road roundabout towards the end of August and since then the traffic queues every night back down Stile Hill Way to Bullerthorpe Lane, taking on average over 10 minutes to get through. Traffic pulling out of McDonalds is also adding to the issue.

A6120 needs removing from Lane 1 of the southbound exit slip road for J46 . Due to the remodelling on the junction it is no longer possible to reach A6120 from Lane 1 as shown in the photo.
It could be replaced with B6902.

Missing / Unsuitable Diversion Signage for Works ref: NOMS-302562, 21st April
Work is currently being carried out over night between J46 and J47 of the M1 northbound and is due to continue till the 27th.
A fully signed diversion route should have been provided by LCC along the A63 but this is missing and though it not NH's responsibly to place the signs along the A63 (unless you have obtained permission) it is your responsibly to make sure a suitably signed diversion route is in place before enacting a closure.
Because the above is missing, you have resulted to using emergency diversion symbols which are not acceptable on their own. There a few symbols that are missing due to the recent sign replacement for ELOR works. It is especially not clear that traffic needs to take a right turn at the J46 roundabout as the symbol is missing from the new sign.
Due to the nature of the roundabout layout traffic unfamiliar with the area may continue to follow signs for The NORTH M1 towards the the north of J46 (Dumbbell Junction) which is currently a high risk junction due to the on going works and yet to be activated traffic lights.

Dangerous layout, 31st March
After witnessing 2 accidents in one day (Tues 29th March) on this road and then my husband texting me when he got to work today (31st March) to say a lorry almost wiped him out with our toddler in the car, we've decided not to use it. The layout has been changed when there doesn't seem an obvious reasons to why, it has caused more traffic chaos, the traffic lights are not switched on yet and everyone thinks they have right of way because of the lack of lights. Something needs doing immediately before there is a fatal accident, if there hasn't been one already!

Traffic signs on gantrys - sign material peeling off sign face, 2nd February
M1 I travelled northbound from jct 44 to the junction of the A1(M) and the A64. Every single gantry sign on this stretch of the M1 had large areas of sign material missing where is has peeled off. The signs will soon be unreadable, will will be a safety issue. Not sure about southbound signs between these junctions. Have you got plans to replace these signs?

Traffic build up due to new rosd layout, 23rd November
A63 / B6509?Leeds bound - only available from the left had lane. Middle and Right lanes both lead to the A6120 new ELOR. Less traffic from East Leeds goes to west Leeds, much more goes to the city centre, the queue in the left hand lane is long, preventing access to the M1 entry slip road. The new road layout, still unsigned, causes unnecessary congestion, especially at peak times.

Dangerous road marking changes., 28th October
Accident waiting to happen changes to road markings on this roundabout in both directions. Middle Lane approach to roundabout on approach to Leeds no longer used as all traffic now has to queue in left lane only to go straight on, much lane changing to the get in to other lanes after going round the roundabout. Ridiculous that same in other direction as now left hand lane veers off to the Springs, much lane changing again after this turn off. Absolutely ridiculous changes to a road where traffic used to flow safely using 2 lanes but on largest roundabout on this stretch of dual carriageway, traffic is reduced to one lane. These changes are dangerous. Please, please get these lanes put back to how they were before there is a serious accident on this roundabout.

Road markings incorrect and confusing, 24th October
Recent changes mean lane 1 is left only but old road markings still in place. In 3 journeys I have nearly been hit by vehicles in lane 1 going straight on to Garforth. Flashing neon sign needed of this is how it is going to be. It didn't need to be changed, worked perfectly well with 2 lanes for straight on and 1 left. Why would vehicles heading out of Leeds want to go back to Leeds in such large quantities. Seen hundreds of reports of same issue on social media. This needs sorting urgently.

Lack of signage, 30th August
Upon exiting the M1 northbound at junction 46 there are no signs at all directing drivers to the new East Leeds Orbital Road. The only signs that exist are directing drivers onto the old existing A6120 which goes through Whitkirk, Seacroft and Crossgates which is the very area which the new road is tryng to take traffic away from. Why is this? It seems that the only people using this road are locals as it will not be on most satnavs and the signage as stated above is non-existant. I find it hard to believe that a road as important as this has nothing to tell drivers where it is. Can you tell me if this is to be rectified?

Overgrown trees and bushes, 19th July
On this road the trees and bushes are in need of cutting back as they are covering road signage such as directions, speed limits, over growing bus stops and at one point you have to walk in bus lane as the trees are covering the footpath. The signage for cycling is covered completely.
