Dog fouling along Lune Valley Ramble., 19th September
A large amount of dog poo bags are left hanging from hedges, gate posts and on the verandah of a private fishing hut. Small laminated posters from FixMyStreet resources have been displayed. Reported to Kirkby Lonsdale Tourist Information Centre who produce leaflets describing the Lune Valley Ramble to visitors, some of who are the dog walkers leaving their bags of poo!

Dirty village entry sign unreadable, 5th July
Village entry sign into Arkholme from Kirkby Lonsdale on B6254 is so dirty it is very difficult to see. Cllrs have carried out a risk assessment and believe it too risky for volunteers to clean the sign. Please could you arrange suitable maintenance team with all necessary equipment to carry out the task.

Potholes and surface degredation, 14th April
B6254 downhill nearby Lane Farm, Arkholme Potholes appeared over 6 months months ago and have deteriorated over the winter months. The left lane is now completely degraded to such an extent an RTC is likely to occur, particularly but not exclusively, a motorbike or cyclist.

Hole on highway (NOT just a pothole), 11th July
B6254 Kirkby Lonsdale Road 1 mile from Lane House going towards Whittington. A hole has appeared on the highway, approx 20cm in diameter with a void showing a dirty yellow (gas?) pipe at the bottom of the 50cm void. Urgent attention required.

Road deterioration, 4th March
