Potholes in road, still not repaired., 25th August
There are a cluster of potholes in the road just beyond the Welcome to Cumbria sign going towards Whittington. they have been there for a long time. Please can we have it repaired.

Potholes in near sign in Hutton Roof., 9th April
There are a number of potholes on this stretch of road, particularly near Irvines wood yard. They are near a sign that says Welcome to Cumbria. I have reported this issue a number of times and nothing ever seems to happen. The road is in a very bad condition and I have hit various potholes on this stretch of road in recent times.

There are potholes in the middle of the road making it dangerous for driving near the Westmorland sign. There are also many potholes along the side of the road outside Irving's wood yard. I do hope that the road will be resurfaced rather than just patched up.

Pothole in road., 17th January
The road is seriously damaged in this area, coming from the junction with Saddler Nook Lane going towards Irving's Woodward. This hole could do some serious damage to someone's car or wheel. It is difficult to see in the dark and it is near a bend in the road.

The temporary drain cover and associated warnings keep being damaged and moved by traffic, leaving the large manhole exposed and dangerous to all road users.

Series of potholes as described at map refOL2,591.768 on left side of road going NNE, Wish to report incident Tuesday evening 10pm,whenentering Saddler Nook Lane from route149,car received severe shock from pothole, resulting in torn tyre and dented wheel rim. Continued dog fouling problem, 20th July
Whittington Parish Council Dog fouling continues to be a problem along Church Street, in the Church grounds and along public footpath The Long Walk, as previously reported. Laminated FixMyStreet signage has been posted (& re-posted) but this does not seem to be effective. One person, whose dog had defecated on the roadside, when asked to pick it up, refused and insisted it would just rot away anyway.

No give way sign and worn away road markings, 26th August
There is no give way sign on Saddler Nook Lane as you approach the T junction. Furthermore the road markings on the T junction itself have worn away. Consequently there is nothing demarking the T Junction whatsoever. This is dangerous for drivers approaching the junction along Saddler Nook Lane as there is no warning of the upcoming junction.

A series of potholes and other road surface damage has developed between the point marked on the map and about half a mile west to Nanny Hall on the Lancashire / Cumbria border.

Blocked culvert, 9th December
Same location as potholes. Next to Docker Cottage, LA6 1AP has been reported several times before. unfortunately only seems to have temporary fix as soon blocks up again. water flowing across and down road. potential skid hazard in freezing weather
