Double Yellow Lines need repainting and road resurfacing, 5th May
Just behind the Red Lion Hotel is a small road that leads to some houses - one being Lion Cottage. After a long campaign, double yellow lines were created in or around 2010/2011 and so as to avoid wrongful parking. These double yellow lines have almost disappeared because they were poorly pianted in the first place and also because of road works at different times since then. They urgently need repainting so as to prevent wrongful parking and thereby cause obstructions and other problems - especially for emergency services. Also, the road is frequently flooded by ordinary rainfall (and not just major storms) and this also causes problems for the residents. The road also needs urgently resurfacing.
