Deliberate limbing and damage to trees on the shoreline, 15th June
Over serveral weeks people are coming to the east shore of coniston and destroying the trees on the foreshore for firewood or just for the "joy" of it. They often arrive in vans or campers oan operate with impunity. Staying until the evening or even overnight. The fires are visible from the West shore.
