Huge pothole - someone has already bust a tyre on it, 23rd November
I can't stop to measure the pothole, but it looks to be over 6" deep and about a foot wide. There have been reports on facebook groups that someone has bust a tyre on it. It's been there a few weeks, but it is a recurring problem from previous years. Sometimes it is impossible to avoid as it is where the road starts to narrow, so you end up hitting the pot hole to avoid a car.

Unavoidable potholes right across road, 5th March
Potholes have recently been repaired (within the last 3 weeks) have now re-appeared with vengeance. They are completely unavoidable and certain to cause damage to vehicles and injury to motorcyclists and cyclists

Poor repairs carried out, 2nd December
This recently resurfaced road has been left in an appalling condition by the contractors who carried out the work. the surface is uneven along the full length of the north bound carriageway so much so that it gives the effect of driving along a cattle grid for half a mile. the most ridiculous part is that the road was perfectly ok beforehand and didn't even need resurfacing.

Simply atrocious road surface, 21st November
Time and money spent on, to my mind, a completely sub standard job at resurfacing Wreaks Causeway - road only smooths out when you drive onto surface that hasn’t been resurfaced - my tax money being spent on repairs like this, I want my money back - surely when inspected this will not be passed!?

Hedge trimmio, 9th October
Hedges trimmed but not cleaned up. Thorns everywhere. Really nasty for cyclists. Unacceptable to leave roads in a dangerous state for road users.

Hedge trimmings and flints in passing places, 4th March
Road needs sweeping as hedge trimmings and other debris is filling passing places on Buckhorn Lane. Impossible to pass cyclists as they cannot move over to allow other traffic to pass. Moving over will be 100% guaranteed to cause a puncture. Some of the stuff looks like it could puncture car tyres too!

2 deep potholes where traffic has to pull in, 1st March
There are 2 deep potholes where traffic has to pull in to the left to let oncoming traffic pass through , the next stretch is only wide enough for one vehicle. If travelling north on the A595 they are by the last bit of wall immediately after Dove Farm ‘narrows’. I followed a Highways Maintenance van this morning and saw it bouncing and rocking as it pulled in and out of both holes....wonder if he reported the problem ?

Leak reported to UU now eroding road, 16th January
There is a leak at this location that has been reported to UU on Thursday. There has been no action other than testing the water and confirming it to be waste water.
The flow of water is now causing the road surface to collapse and sink. There is broken tarmac and the larger area, previously repaired is now sinking and is about an inch lower than yesterday.

Major water leak, 15th January
There is a huge amount of water gushing out of the ground at the site of a previous repair. I am concerned that this will undermine the carriageway at this point.

Hedge trimmings not cleared, 7th October
Lower half of Buckhorn Lane is the worst section, but the upper half isn't great either. Hedges trimmed and debris left on road. Passing places rendered useless to cyclists. This causes conflict with other road users. Increased danger of punctures. Not great when a tyre suddenly goes flat on one of the many downhills. This can and has caused serious accidents. The alternative route is a) longer b) much steeper c) most importantly, busier and consequently more dangerous.
