G653 ONV abandoned for 7months. J86 RVP, 16th December
There has been a Horse Box parked for 7 months now on the back exit of Cark Railway Station, this weekend it has been joined by another Horse Box, neither of the horse boxes are of recent registration.
The road is used by the public for accessing the local farmers supply, Cark Railway Station and its also used by the residents of Station Road for Parking, with the horse boxes taking up this room it has now resulted in vehicles parking on the main road which makes it very dangerous for pedestrians and school children catching the buses. The horse boxes have no right there especially when the owners live at Holker, which is a mile away, but I can see their a Eye Sore for Lord Cavendish at Holler Hall, so we have to put up with them. Please can you order them to be moved.

Overgrown hedges, 5th August
Walking away from Holker Hall on the B5278 just as you reach the "Cark B5278" traffic sign, the hedge overhangs part of the footpath and is head height requiring you to step out into the road. Whilst it is appreciated, the footpath has been extended out into the road, it is a lot safer if a pedestrian was able to keep on the footpath simply by cutting the hedge.

No Carpark due to Xmas Tree, 2nd February
Cark's Xmas Tree is still located in the Car park next to the Public Toilets and Playground. Due to the fact that the Xmas Tree is located centrally in the Car park it means that anyone wishing to use the car park to make use of the toilet facilities etc, etc cannot do so. It is now more than a month since Xmas and the tree is still there. This shouldn't be allowed. To obstruct public services is a waste of everyone's tax money. Please contact whoever is in charge of this for immediate action. Thank you

Road condition, 17th May
Potholes in this area need attention before they develop to such an extent that motorists/cyclists try to avoid them on what is a very dangerous corner re the mix of pedestrians that use the road as part of a walking /exercise route

Pot hole, 17th May
I notice that the Roads Surveyor has been marking road problems in the area, but does not appear to have surveyed the road between Cark Hall and The Green. Several locations need attention
