URGENT: Large lamppost outside primary school damaged.", 6th May

Mon, 06 May 2024 18:45:34 +0100
51.386346 -0.263055

A large new lamppost has been damaged, most likely by a reversing HGV, posing an imminent risk for pedestrians and nearby residents' vehicles (with the potential for a car to be damaged if it falls), especially given its location outside the primary school. The health and safety risk must be addressed as a matter of urgency to prevent an accident. Additionally, I request the reinstatement of a large, heavy-duty cast iron bollard 2 meters away from the lamppost (see tarmac marking where one was previously situated). This will prevent further damage to the lamppost and protect children outside the school gate

When they came and collected the rubbish, a bag had probably opened, and they left everything on the floor and left. It's a disgrace with the council tax I pay to see this happening in 2024. So disappointed!

Collapsing Manhole in road, 5th May

Sun, 05 May 2024 09:32:28 +0100
51.409682 -0.263545

There is a collapsing manhole, with a raised cover as a result, in the road immediately before the pedestrian crossing outside Coombe Girls School. The location of the manhole is such that almost every vehicle approaching the crossing hits it. This is dangerous, a threat to pedestrians and motorists and could result in a serious accident were someone to lose control of a vehicle from hitting the manhole.

Parking nuisance, 4th May

Sat, 04 May 2024 17:58:24 +0100
51.404259 -0.275147

I am resident in a new built and the parking is free in our road. There is a business just next to my building which repair cars and very often parks his cars on the road and leave them stationary for weeks, till they get repaired. Also, residents living around, park their second or third veichle on the same road and leave them also stationary for weeks or months. There is a campervan parked here since August 2023 that does not belong to any residents from my building. I have got a blue badge and, every day, i have to park far away because the whole road is occupied by NON residents. Although cars are allowed to park, i would like the Council to consider to make this road "parking permit" only because, as a matter of fact, there are more people in this road than they used to and the parking has to be regulated properly.

There is a 12 inch pothole that is now spreading loose debris all over the road., 3rd May

Fri, 03 May 2024 14:15:30 +0100
51.411593 -0.23398

This pothole has been here for many months, opposite the church and children's nursery. Unfortunately it's got significantly larger in the past few weeks and now has to be avoided completely to prevent tyre damage. This makes the area dangerous with children from the nursery and pick up/drop off right there. Thank you for prioritizing the repair!

Bushes blocking the footpath, 3rd May

Fri, 03 May 2024 12:33:58 +0100
51.396067 -0.236039

303 West Barnes Lane, the un-cut bushes have grown nearly across the footpath and I cannot safely get by on my mobility scooter without sustaining facial injuries. This property is a disgrace to all disabled people in the area. Please cut the bushes right back to their private property line such that the entire public footpath can be used as it is intended. While you are at it, 313 has a similar problem, although nowhere near as bad as 303. All property owners must keep their bushes ONLY on their own property so disabled people can also enjoy their freedoms without risk of injury. Thank you.
