A red van is continually parked on double yellow lines, 15th May

Wed, 15 May 2024 11:13:37 +0100
51.394963 -0.296189

A red van is continually parked on the left hand side of the road before it goes over the one-way bridge over the railway line. This is causing cars to swerve into the cycle lane that comes the other way over the bridge. The van is parked illegally on double yellow lines.

Street cleaning not done, 14th May

Tue, 14 May 2024 20:28:17 +0100
51.410241 -0.267071

There are a number of concerns with the lack of street cleaning which I think is creating other problems: drains look like they are getting blocked; weds are growing and have seen some of the elderly neighbours trip as they cross the roads. The cleaning is particular bad on the full-de-sac end of Overdale Avenue. It is also bad on Oak road.

Overgrowth of weeds - unsafe walking, 10th May

Fri, 10 May 2024 22:33:32 +0100
51.390617 -0.294992

This overgrowth of weeds has been like this for over 2 months. It is hard to walk down it to get to the back gate and use the back gardens. It also encourages people to leave rubbish as unkept and could cause a fall for elderly people. Please can the excessive weeds be removed. This is the alleyway at the end of The Retreat, KT5 8RN and at the back of the houses 47-53 Smith Street, KT5 8SW.

Parking nuisance, 4th May

Sat, 04 May 2024 17:58:24 +0100
51.404259 -0.275147

I am resident in a new built and the parking is free in our road. There is a business just next to my building which repair cars and very often parks his cars on the road and leave them stationary for weeks, till they get repaired. Also, residents living around, park their second or third veichle on the same road and leave them also stationary for weeks or months. There is a campervan parked here since August 2023 that does not belong to any residents from my building. I have got a blue badge and, every day, i have to park far away because the whole road is occupied by NON residents. Although cars are allowed to park, i would like the Council to consider to make this road "parking permit" only because, as a matter of fact, there are more people in this road than they used to and the parking has to be regulated properly.
