Flytipping between no 40 & 38 high street ewell, 20th April
This alleyway is were bins are kept by the local home /business owners, however as its is a discreet alleyway we find that sometimes over night non-residents have placed large refuse items by the bins. There is no way of tracing the culprits. It may well be some of the home/business owners but it is impossible to catch these individuals.

Fragmented road surface, 15th April
The entire road is degrading and beyond repair just too many holes and ruts to repair . Iam curious to the condition of this road as it was resurfaced , is this poor workmanship or materials . If 44ton trucks are going to be using this road it needs to be sufficiently strong enough to cope.

3 or 4 horizontal cracks/gully's in the road, 10th April
There are 3 or 4 deep horizontal cracks/gully's that have formed along this road (in both directions), that I know if I were to hit them on my bicycle, would cause damage to the wheel (at best) and could potentially cause an accident. I am aware of these defects, so am able to avoid them (my bunny hop game is improving daily) but to someone who is not aware of these defects, it could be a different story.

Uneven top layer of tarmac as broken off in many random places, 1st April
The photographs do not do this section justice, nor can you really see what a delight this section of road is to cycle along (if you like being jolted from your seat and having to sway all over the road just to maintain a flattish surface) unless you have indeed cycled along it. From Sunnymede Avenue to Green Lanes, the thick top section of this road has broken up randomly causing an estuary of uneven rivulets and channels in the road surface filling your "safe" cycle with edge-of-the-saddle excitement and pain.

Deep flooding at entrance to cycle way, 1st April
The drainage along this road at the entrance to the cycleway crossing into Plough Road is very poor. Water floods here right along the street and in the dark it's difficult to see what might be lying underneath and whether it is even safe to enter.

Road surface deteriorating prior to speed cushion, 1st April
The speed cushion outside 26 Burgh Heath Road, Epsom has been previously repaired, however the road surface uphill of this, on the downhill lane has started to significantly deteriorate. This has caused a depression pot hole, which will cause a jolt and steering issues, in one of the two natural paths that a cyclist will take to avoid the speed cushion, the between the two speed cushions, but which will bring them closer to oncoming traffic. It can also be seen in the photograph how poor the road sweeping has been along with a lack of verge maintenance allowing the build up of detritus over the kerb and into the gutter, obscuring the white lines marking the carriageway.
