Open bins on highway rubbish spreading to forest, 2nd March
These bins are left next to the road permanently, One has a lid missing. Rubbish is now blowing from the bins and spreading down the road and into the forest. There is enough room for the bins to be kept secured on their own property. Cerco say it is not their problem, this should be dealt with as flytipping

Very dangerous junction, 1st July
Three car accident here yesterday at junction. This is the site of numerous accidents and near misses. Traffic turning right towards Thetford coming from Grimes Graves have very limited visibility looking towards Thetford. Could be improved partly by cutting back vegetation by the cottages. Visible line of site is far too short for the speed that oncoming vehicles are travelling at. Situation is made worse when large commercial vehicles pull out. Commercial traffic has increased significantly since works expansion by Brandon station. Perhaps all HGV's should be routed via Mundford roundabout. It is also dangerous turning right towards West Tofts from Thetford, as vehicles have to sit on the outside of the bend in the road whilst waiting. Perhaps a speed limit should be imposed to cover this junction and back towards the Santon Downham junction, this would also cover the blind dip which still has inadequate solid white lines to stop overtaking. These were shortened the last time the lines were repainted. Vehicles pull out at the end of the solid line to overtake not realising that a low oncoming vehicle can be completely hidden in the dip. There have been accidents here and near misses, one day this will be the site of a fatal accident

Potholes, 25th March
Yet again a very poor attempt at filling potholes for them to re appear and worse than ever. Drawing a white line around them and leaving them for weeks won't solve the problem, they need filling properly as this is what us taxpayers pay for!

Dangerous blind dip in road, missing solid white line, 21st May
At this point there is a blind dip in the road heading towards Mundford. When the white lines were last repainted the solid line stopping overtaking was painted about 5 to 10 yds shorter than before, this now allows vehicles to overtake when there could be an oncoming car in the dip which is invisible. Vehicles often ignore the solid line anyway and this is the probably the most dangerous part of this road. The solid line need to be extended for safety.
