Traffic calming needed, 20th March
This road is getting worse and worse for reckless drivers!! Constant noisy vehicles and driving, keep waking my daughter up at night but happens all through the day also. Don’t feel comfortable crossing the road due to the speed of some people. The roundabout keeps getting used for circuits and has had multiple signs damaged. Many close calls of impatient people not stopping or looking on the roundabout. Just sick of hearing backfiring and I know it’s an issue in elgin but something needs to be done fast.

This pot hole appeared about a week ago and has developed into 2 potholes and they are growing in size almost daily

Surface water issue, 1st January
For months there has been a large amount of water coming out of the pavement running across the road. It’s bubbling out of the ground and I’m worried it could cause a sinkhole especially as it’s next to parked cars. Scottish water have confirmed it’s not a burst main. There’s also a similar problem just by the roundabout where it keeps causing issues and just keeps getting patched up but not sorted. It’s been lethal with the cold weather recently and just wanted to make sure it's not going to cause further problems

New road entrance, 16th August
It might be because it’s still in progress but the new road to the new estate being built, opens up onto a 60 mph road on a bend. Many people have pulled out in front of me, maybe the road should have been extended into the 40mph limit just as you pass the garage - before works started.

Badly sunk road surface that floods, 29th August
The road surface out side 33 Hermes rd Elgin has become badly sunken and dangerous to passing vehicles and pedestrians. Water collects and becomes quite deep at this point as there is no drainage possible. The whole length of this roads canter has become dangerous. This has been an issue for many years and has only got worse. No maintenance has taken place on this road for years.

Street Lighting Not Operational, 23rd August
The street lighting around the Tesco roundabout has not been operational for some time. Reported to Bear Scotland with no response. This is a hazard for motorists and pedestrians.

Large ruts in main road and lifted drains resulting in trucks bouncing on the road and vibrations through the house, increased heavy vehicles because of lossiemouth base runway upgrade, 11th July
Multiple neighbours now suffering with vibrations through houses and every heavy good vehicle going above 10mph is bouncing through in both directions causing cracks in houses as if we were having mini earth quakes.

Caravan parked on the grass adjacent to Tesco supermarket, 26th November
Don’t believe that it can be legal to park a caravan on the road verge, which surely belongs to the local council. The grass verges in this area are very neat and spoilt by selfish owner using it as a parking bay for his caravan. This street may be called Haugh Road.
