The weeds around Embo's footpaths and road curbstones are getting out of hand. Has anyone actually been into Embo from the highways department to do work, and not just rest watching the beach!!!

Countless potholes, 6th February
There are innumerable potholes, some quite large, along this road from Dornoch to Embo, becoming most pronounced around Hilton of Embo and around the bus stop. Every ~3 months a few of said potholes are filled with tar, but the tar rapidly wears away and only around three of the many are filled at any one time. As some of these potholes are quite large and dangerous, they may pose a safety risk; additionally, they are an element in the lowness of land values in an otherwise clean and profitable area. It would cost little and contribute much if these potholes, a thing rightly left behind with the close of the 19th century and the decline of macadamised roads, effectively filled in.
