New lampost, work not completed, 5th July
Well over 3 weeks ago an old lamp post was removed and a new lamp post fitted, but the large hole was not filled in and still has barriers round it. No work has been done for at least 3 weeks, it's as if it's been left forgotten about. It is situated in the cut through that links The Meadows with Main Street, lamp post number 1.

Deep and dangerous, 16th March
Pothole in road edge westbound.
As main street in Cherry Burton is not that wide, cars tend to swerve round this deep pothole which in itself is dangerous. If a vehicle hits this pothole there is a strong chance of damage to tyres and suspension.

Hedge clippings, 27th October
Once again we users of the Molescroft to Cherry Burton cycle path have to suffer the hedge-clippings sprayed over the path and not swept up by the irresponsible farmer along this stretch. I have just walked a mile home after a puncture.
Why can the council not take action to ensure these clippings are swept up on the same day they appear? Surely this is covered under local bye-laws regarding litter? If I threw a load of nails on the adjacent B1248 and caused vehicle tyre punctures I would be charged with causing criminal damage. Why do cyclists have to suffer in silence over this irresponsibility?
