Water running for 30m NS kerb, 16th December
When travelling east bound, over last month, Water running constantly kerb side NS lane. Starts at entrance to lay-by, flows down under bridge back towards the shell fuel station. This is before you can exit off to southcave village or towards Brough/ Wanda home / Everthorpe.

Dangerous water accumulation on the road, 1st October
There has been water coming out of the drain for several days now, the whole path is flooded and now the road has water accumulated on it. This is on a blind bend and is extremely dangerous.

Lay by closed, 15th August
Why are majority of the a63 lay bys closed/coned off on both sides of the dual carriageway. A friend of mine had an issue with car and had to continue because could not stop. It has been like this for months now.

Footpath obstructed, 7th June
The public footpath that runs along side the EBC of the A63 between South Cave interchange to the gateway at Pinfold, South Cave, is completely overgrown with weeds and thistles and is impassable. The roadway in this area has just had a make over, perhaps you could look to sort the footpath out as well please. The appears to have been developing over the past few months.

Large dead Badger on the edge of the road, 25th May
Large dead animal, looks like a badger on the right lane eastbound, somewhere in this are, it is sticking into the live lane a little so a lorry or larger vehicle may clip it.

Drain cover missing, 21st March
A traffic cone has been placed over an open grate at the side of the road, on the westbound offslip at South Cave. The cone was placed there by someone from the petrol station a while ago, but the drain cover hasn't been replaced.

Temporary Sign for A63 road works obstructing view., 30th January
A temporary road sign has been placed on the A1034/South Cave interchange for the roadworks taking place on the A63. As vehicles attempt to emerge from Willow Flats, South Cave, the view to the left (in the direction of Sth Cave) is obscured by this temporary sign. The sign is in place 24/7 (covered during the day) - this is quite a large sign approx 3"x3". This is particularly dangerous as the speed of vehicles passing the junction is 40mph +. Drivers are attempting to creep out due to the restriction and having to stop with the front of their vehicle in live traffic. This is an easy fix by repositioning the sign in a more suitable location and training those placing them of the need to consider all factors in the area. Thanks

Lay-by eastbound, 4th December
This eastbound lay-by has been closed off for at least 2 years for no apparent reason ,drivers have to take rest breaks by law in some cases.there seems to be no serious defects in this place so why is it closed.highways England vehicles seem to park here on a regular basis doing nothing so why not open it up for us who need to take a break by law .too many places closed for no reason

Armco Barrier Severely Buckled, 10th August
This has been reported in March but needs looking into. I have read the previous response regarding the buckled newly fitted Armco, I have never seen anything so severe. There must be expansion joints that need adjusting, or you run the risk of damaging / ripping up the posts which the barrier is secured to.

Trees & Bushes obscuring the path, 14th July
I walked down castle rise this morning in the rain and the trees/bushes overhanging the path make it impossible to get by without getting wet. These trees and bushes need a serious trim outside numbers 36 to 60.
