FIXMYSTREET IN HR2 8NU
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of HR2 8NU:
People speeding- Need a zebra crossing or speed camera, 2nd May
To whom this may concern, I have emailed local police, the parish etc about this issue and I haven't seen anything really being done. As I am aware the speeding is an issue and I am aware of a hit and run a few years ago which changed the speeding through the village. So what's it going to take another hit and run. I feel very ignored about this issue. By the school in st Weonards is the main road that goes down hill and past the estate that I live on and idiots think it's okay to speed through the village. This time I have seen a lady on her phone speeding through, lorries speeding through, boy racers and many others this list goes on. I walk my daughter with my baby strapped to me to walk to school and it's dangerous so dangerous no one cares about their speed and safety. Something I beg needs to be done. We're a small family that have been fortunate to be able to by a shared ownership house and so proud to be able to live here and our children go to school here. But this issue needs to be delt with before another horrific accident happens. Please don't ignore this issue. Thank you, Jessica Burson

Road surface breaking up, 21st August
Reported on 12th February, but no action yet taken, the road surface between Treago Bridge (OS reference 490241) and Garway (461227), has not been repaired except for a few potholes in the western most section. The initial 300 metres from Treago Bridge is almost impassible with the complete surface breaking up. Many other local lanes have been repaired, although they are not village links. This road links Garway to St Weonards and has hardly been repaired. It is a real danger to any cyclist or motorcyclist and has caused great damage to local vehicles.
