Blocked drains, 10th January
Either going north or south .. I have noticed that even on a normal raining day the road can become over whelmed with running water .. you can see where the drains are that they are full of detritus .. and the water just runs past them .. where the road cambers the water flow runs across the carrage way making it very hazardous for drivers

Three car transporters unloading vehicles for nearby showrooms, 6th December
I could not pull into the layby as there were three car transporters dropping off and unloading vehicles for the nearby car showrooms. This has happened before. The unloading was unsafe and cars were stacked back to the entrance of the layby

There is a section of National Cycle Route 46 on which the surface had collapsed causing a number of potholes and large areas of surface disintegration.

Blocked drains, 12th November
All the drains between Wormelow, down the Callow hill to Grafton in are blocked and a river of water running down and across the carriageway causing cars to aqua plane at 60mph. Been an issue and getting worst for last 3 months.

Heading out of Hereford towards Ross on wye up the hill,past Marshall’s Toyota garage,all drains and gullies blocked which causes flooding, 4th November
Message Dear to whom it may concern, please could you explain to me why when I am driving out on the A40 nine from Hereford towards Ross on Wye after a considerable amount of rain all of your drains your goodies that are supposed to run the water away down into the drain are all blocked, to the point where you have things growing out of them, which causes flooding, which then causes accidents, so I don’t understand why Herefordshire and Worcestershire county council do not maintain their roads properly. It is a disgrace and an embarrassment, you would’ve thought with all the road tax that we pay they would use a considerable amount of it to actually look after our roads and highways, but sadly that does not happen, I have contacted Worcestershire county council as well and they tell me it’s not their issue. It’s the highways, so why don’t the county councils contact the highways to tell them that this is an issue That the drains are blocked, I live in Worcester

Transporter unloading new vehicles, 20th July
This is a public layby serviced by a small tea and coffee van on numerous occasions transporters with new cars pull up and offload their new cars for the garages opposite I have tried to pull in and have not been able to park. They also park very close to the road and it is dangerous to pull in. This is a regular occurence and I worry that an accident could happen

Deep mud, 2nd April
This is the location a local adjacent landowner dug a deep pit in the highway to prevent its use. The council filled the hole, but stone is required. Simply filling the vehicle ruts with stone would make it safe to walk on and take minimal effort. Total length is about 100m, the rest of the Byway is quite acceptable..

Missing Road Sign On Bend, 30th January
On Haywood Lane heading towards Callow Church, the road sign of warning arrows on the bend has been hit by a vehicle. The posts appear to be broken and the hazard warning sign is laying in the hedge. There is nothing to warn motor vehicles of the potentially hazardous bend.

Keep left bollards damaged and not lit , junction difficult to see., 12th December
The keep left signed are damaged and poor repair, unlit also. Very difficult to judge where junction is to enter as there is no street lighting and signs unlit. Almost collided with kerb at times, could cause an accident. Hope you can rectify this, thanks.
