FIXMYSTREET IN HP27 0NS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of HP27 0NS:
Missing 'Horse Warning Triangle', 26th April
The horse in the triangle that was mounted on the chevrons is now missing and apparently it is now no longer legal to put there, I can’t see another post that it could be mounted on to warn motorists/cyclists etc that horses are emerging from a blind bend in front of them – could a new post and sign be put up? The post which houses the bends warning sign as seen on this link Pink Rd - Google Maps could be an option. Please raise this on FMS and I will raise a job to have one added to this post

Pots holes and failed road surface on the junction, 23rd April
On the junction coming from woodway at the give way lines there are pot holes and a failed road surface. When trying to pull out the junction the pot holes are hard to avoid making it dangerous to pull out of the junction without going through them and risking damage.

Cycle path between Lee Rd and Shootacre, 10th April
This new cycle path replaced a degraded footpath 2 or 3 years ago. In my opinion it was not a good job by the contractors. There are so many places where the weeds are growing through and pushing up the tarmac. I stumbled over one of these places of raised tarmac recently so it is not particularly safe either. The verges are encroaching by at lest a foot in many places. A nice wide cycle path is already being compromised. It needs clearing and sweeping. It doesn't seem to make sense spending a lot of money on a great asset which I used by so many people, only to let it defoliate so rapidly. I walked it a few days ago, there are a few areas where there is broken glass, not good for cyclists, pedestrians or dogs.

Wardrobes Lanes, on the left side when heading towards P.Risborough, adjacent to driveway to property called Tylers Field, 6th April
The soft dirt verge has “collapsed” for a distance of several metres along this section of single track lane. This means that vehicle that pulls to the left to let another vehicle pass, could slide off the road and be unable to get back on to the road. It’s hard to capture a sense of the drop, but in the photos a yellow highlighter pen is included to try to give perspective. This defect has already been reported [ref 5810158, but without photos. Thank you

Excessive mud and loose stones on road due to tractor movements, 1st April
Upper Icknield Way from the point where the Ridgeway footpath joins to the Shootacre Lane crossroads is liberally coated with mud and loose stones caused by tractor movements to and from the field. The tractors are appear to be hauling trailer loads of manure from a local farm. The road as a result is slippery and very unpleasant for the many walkers, cyclists and horse-riders who use the lane. I note that this has been previously reported and closed, however the problem still exists and if anything the recent heavy rain has made the situation worse.

Wardrobes Lane, on the left side of the single track lane when heading towards Risborough, 29th March
Significant pothole as per photos. Approx 3 inches deep with a vertical edge. Yellow highlighter pen in the photos for scale. When water-filled then the size of the pothole is disguised. The lane is narrow, so the pothole is a significant hazard to nearside and offside wheels & tyres, depending on in which direction a vehicle is travelling. The lane is completely unlit, therefore the pothole is very hard to spot at night. Thank you
