Footpath bridge broken between Dorton and Ashendon, 18th April
Footpath bridge rotten and broken away where it crosses a stream on a field boundary. Bridge located between Dorton and Ashendon on Ashendon side of Chiltern Railway line - 1 field width from railway on footpath.

Dangerous road surface over extended distance, 15th April
This entire stretch of road is a disgrace and has become a real danger to all road users, particularly cyclists. The state of this road has gone beyond being an embarrassment for the council and has become a serious accident in-waiting. It is no longer a matter of if, it’s now a matter of when. Please deal with this now before someone is seriously hurt, or worse.

Massive potholes all down this road, 14th April
This road is horrendous. It's been closed on and off for 3 weeks. What was the point when the worse part hasn't even been touched. I witnessed a narrow miss when a cyclist almost fell off his bike when he went dien a pothole and almost fell into oncoming traffic. You are gonna have a serious lawsuit on your hands very soon.

Just before the sharp bend at the bottom of the road leading from Ashendon between The Old Station and Station Cottage, 13th April
There is a large pothole developing just before the bend causing traffic to move to the wrong side of the road in a dangerous location. This fault was repaired less than two weeks ago and failed within days. The repair was inspected by highways personnel on 4th / 5th April and deemed to be a failed repair but this has yet to be rectified. The original report was deemed to be a matter of urgency and was actioned in a timely manner and the remedial work now required needs to be similarly expedited.

Dangerous pothole, 27th March
In path of wheel tracks and although relatively small area (20x30cm) this pothole is deep (15cm) and is a wheel-breaker if a car drives drives into it. Numerous other pothioles have been patched in recent times but not this one., The whole road surface along this part of Winchendon Road is failing.

Just before the sharp bend at the bottom of the road leading from Ashendon to Wotton Underwood, 25th March
At the bottom of the hill a new pothole has opened up between two stop cock covers. The tarmac has gone and the substrate is being eroded rapidly as vehicles encounter the pothole. The position of the pothole on the road is causing vehicles to deviate onto the wrong side of the road immediately before the sharp bend thereby increasing the risks of an RTA.

Main Street, Ashendon - Main Road, Upper Winchendon, 4th March
The roads in and around Ashendon are closed sue to works, but this is causing a massive detour through Aylesbury, the works on Main St were meant to have been finished by now and people were even using it at the weekend as the machinery had gone - but seems like they are back again. Although we appreciate the works that are happening, they just need to be thought out more.
