The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of HP16 0QD:
In Rignall rd, just after the the turnoff to turn right for heavy vehicles to go to Great Missenden, 4th May
To whom it may concern On the morning of 17/04/24,I was driving on Rignall rd to work from Haddenham Bucks to Chesham. Just past the turnoff for heavy vehicles to get to Great Missenden, and just before the road zig zacs going right, then left, then right and then left again, I hit the pothole as per attached pic. This was exactly 11 miles from my home being HP17 8FT towards Great Missenden. Normally when vehicles are not coming towards you on the other side on this narrow road with hedges on both sides, one drives further away from the side almost into the other side of the road to ensure not hitting bad parts of the road. In this particular point in time, a vehicle came from the other side which meant I had to stay in my lane. Normally this would be fine, but at this particular spot, part of the road was missing and a big hole remained, which I then drove into at approx. 40 miles ph. When this happened, I felt how hard this was, and was surprised that the car was still drivable. But I guess that was just luck, for although I ended up getting to work, two hours later I had a flat. During my lunch hour I replaced it with the spare, and took the wheel to the closest Tyre repair Shop. They informed me that the rim got bent on the inside and needed fixing, which ended up costing me £125 that was not budgeted for. I would appreciate if you could ensure the road to be fixed, for I'm sure this either would have happenned or will be happening to others. I would also appreciate compensation to me for this expense that I had to occur. Thank you

Flat tyre due to pothole measuring over 90cm, 4th May
When driving down Heath End Road, towards Windsor Lane, under the 30mph speed limit, I encountered the shown pot hole - exactly outside the gate of Hampden Cottage. Measuring in at over 90cm long, 30cm wide, 10cm deep, this pot hole shredded my front passenger side tyre. Not marked up or clearly visible it was unavoidable due to the other potholes littered in the area and terrible upkeep of the road. Not only was this an unavoidable problem and at a huge personal finance expense, the pothole is so large it’s beyond dangerous.

Abandoned wrecked blue BMW no longer with regsitration plates, 3rd May
This wrecked blue BMW has been here since October last year. The owner has done nothing about it other than transfer the number plates to a new vehicle. This has been reported before more than once and somehow seen as acceptable. I cannot see how an abandoned, unregistered vehicle like this is acceptable.

Two blocked drains, 2nd May
I am not sure why my previous request was closed with no proper review but there are two blocked drains on the road (not gully's) which cause flooding every time it rains (even light rain). This is causing a road hazard and I have personally witnessed two accidents as a result so it is a hazard to road users.

End of Atkins Farm Drive, 2nd May
Two drains are blocked. One drain is on the road and the other is in the entrance to Atkins farm. I suspect the first flows (or should) into the second. This is causing all of the water to pool in the dip in the road creating a hazard for road users. I have already witnessed one cyclist falling off their bike as a result. We live nearby and the drains have not been cleared for years.

Orchard Lane POTHOLE Central, 30th April
Generalisation... Green Park in Prestwood is a NO THROUGH ROAD, WHY has it been completely RESURFACED??? there must be someone very important living there!!
All the potholes in Orchard Lane are marked, only a few have been filled in with left over loose tarmac that will not last. What about the remaining holes, are they going to be filled in?

Whole stretch of road full of potholes, 29th April
From Heath End to the beginning of Hare Lane, the whole stretch of road is full of dangerous potholes (they’re deep, wide, and getting worse). This has been an issue for several months now and nothing is being done.

Roundabout on A413 at junction with Link Rd into Great Missenden. Ditch in road surface., 27th April
As you enter onto the roundabout from the A413 and want to go into Link Road towards Great Missenden, the road surface has deteriorated quite a bit. There’s also a small pothole forming on the roundabout as you go around it towards the HS2 area slip rd entrance.

Large number of potholes along the length of the road junction along the junction of Honorwood Close and Honor End Lane. This had previously been marked with white markings for repair but never was. Please resurface entire area and not fill individual holes as this will deteriorate in time.
