There is a dip in the road just before the M40 flyover. Every time it rains it fills with water very quickly and can be the cause of accidents and congestion. A proper drainage solution needs to be implemented. If there are drains, then they are obviously clogged and need clearing asap.

When we have rain, the road and pavement between the bus stop and nail bar gets flooded as the drains aren't effective. Often cars will speed to get through the lights soaking passers-by, including myself and my car with dirty water and debris from the road. Thus has been occurring for about 6 months

The sign displaying the road name is broken. It has been temporarily replaced by residents with a hand painted sign, however it does need to be replaced properly please as the temporary sign is not in keeping with the other road signs.

Playground not been repaired, 16th May
This is a popular playground for small children. Following flooding several months back (now subsided), the playground was closed but has never re-opened - the gates remain locked. If repairs are required to the flooring can this please be carried out so that children can use the playpark

Stream bank on path side of stream, near small weir - cricket ground on opposite side., 16th May
Dangerous wire / grills exposed - previously used as a cage for pebbles put there to protect/reinforce the river bank. Pebbles all gone now and wire cage remains for no purpose.

Traffic Light on turning from London Road to Ryemead Way, 16th May
The traffic light has always been a green arrow unless a pedestrian presses the button to cross. Recently it seems to have broken and the lights are constantly turning red even when traffic going in the same direction on London Road has a green light

Street light broken…, 15th May
There is a street light broken outside 38 Swains Lane, this was done by a car months ago. It hasn’t been fixed just taped off and now no light in that area of the road. Please can you fix?

Weeds and grass area to be cut please, 15th May
The green area next to path outside 38 and 40 Swains Lane really needs cutting back. Also continues round onto Treadaway Road and this is overhanging the pathway. Hasn’t been cut in ages.

Copy of letter to National Highways who did not re direct as asked but told me to write to you.
Cock Land Penn HP10 8DS is the road in question between Tyler’s Green Middle School to the end of the wooded narrow stretch. This road needs serious attention and at the very least IMMEDIATELY inspection. I live in Cock Lane and rarely turn right out of my drive for these very reasons.This road is dangerous. I am sure this will not be the first complaint re this Road. Last week coming back to my house with a friend who travelled this road could not believe the condition especially when we came up upon a B&Q DELIVERY TRUCK who should not be on this road as it clearly states UNSUITABLE FOR LARGE VEHICLES which is totally ignored and has been for years and a car transporter late last year. As you can imagine this causes a back up which then becomes an issue to continue and of course tempers get frayed which I have personally witnessed.
This road on the wood side is completely falling away and in places gone, just Earth should a truck loose traction it could tip, the woods are old and in places dying so they would not hold a large vehicle and in parts it is steep.
The pot holes are a different matter but are countless and deep they have been filled or patched countless times. I have actually witnessed a hole been filled in with a shovel and tramp down by foot if only I had taken a photo. The repairs of past only last a matter of months.
I would back all this up with photographs but it is far too dangerous cars and motor bikes and scramble bikes take absolutely no notice of the speed restriction. Only this week was a huge Pantecnican travelled this road, I did photograph it but has a company logo so will refrain from doing so.

When you get out of Bowden lane onto the main road, to the left, 14th May
When you turn out of Bowden lane the grass/weeds are so high that you besrly can see the oncoming traffic from left…is it possible to get the grass/weeds cut back to make it safe again please
