ISSUE: Violence Against Women and Girls - VAWG - Marlborough Safer Neighbourhood Team is committed in the reduction in violent crime including those crimes committed against women and girls. This will be achieved through joint working with partner agencies and proactive policing.
ACTION: Daily patrols of the ward whilst engaging with members of the community on their individual perception of their safety. Also gaining an understanding of the issues they have identified within the ward. Along with increased patrols on Friday and Saturday evenings.

ISSUE: Reduce residential burglary through increased crime prevention awareness. Visit every victim of this crime type and offer crime prevention. Use social media platforms (OWL and Twitter) to give crime prevention advice. High Visibility patrols.
ACTION: Every victim of burglary visited and given extensive crime prevention advice.
nnIn areas that have seen an increase in burglaries crime prevention leaflet drops have been conducted to raise awareness. Analysis carried out on potential offenders to determine any links to offences. Patrols are tailored to tackle the more vulnerable streets to tackle those engaged in Burglary. One male identified and efforts are being made to locate and arrest.

ISSUE: Motor vehicle crime - The Local Police will increase patrols to tackle those engaging in theft of and theft from motor vehicles.
ACTION: Awareness of this raised through communication whilst on patrols. Offering advice to members of the community to be vigilant of their surroundings and to report via 101 anything they deem to be suspicious.
nnThe team have recently arrested a prolific offender for a range of motor vehicle offences. Areas of concern have been identified with the team engaging with residents around procurring evidence through CCTV on doorbells. Advice given around keeping valuables out of view and ensuring cars are emptied of valuable items
