Large pothole on westbound A658 before the curve, 18th April
Caused flat tyre in two vehicles within the span of about 1 hour on Tuesday 16 April 2024. My wife's vehicle hit the pothole and was soon flat. While waiting for a tyre service a police constable was assisting an older couple that hit the same pothole and had a flat.

Heavy Metal Pole likely to fall down, 9th April
There is a Heavy Metal Pole with a mirror attached outside Spring Lane Farm. It has rusted away at the bottom and needs to be removed as it could be dangerous if it fell into the road or fell onto someone passing by on the pavement.

Deep pothole, 9th April
There is a deep pothole and a few other smaller potholes on the left side of yew tree lane just as you come out of Burn Bridge after yew tree farm. It is unavoidable when trafic is coming the other way and is damaging to cars suspension and tyres.

10 inch pothole at edge of speed cushion as marked, see below, 6th April
Pothole at edge of cobbled cushion severely jolted the occupants of my vehicle travelling at a slow speed ie less than 20 mph. I use this lane frequently and have not noticed it before. The pothole is near the junction of Burn Bridge Lane and Brackenthwaite Lane.

The lane guidance sign has been obscured by an overhanging tree in both directions but is worse in the direction going towards the A1M.

Large pothole at speedhump on Main St Pannal, just over Crimple Beck bridge, 5th November

The pothole is on Whinney Lane, as you enter the road from Lady Lane. Approx 5-10m in from the junction. This is a risk to cyclists, as the pothole is only seen when you are in the midst of the turn. A fellow cyclist suffered a puncture and damaged wheel due to this pothole
