Report on FixMyStreet
Our lane has been ‘patched’ for over 15 years. Only half the potholes are patched each time and that lasts 3-6 months. Then the other half takes 3-6 months to get patched. This means we are permanently with potholes., 4th March
When are you going to stop patching and resurface the lane properly. I note that it was due for a weeks work on it from 12th February but that got cancelled and a patching job done seven days before that date.

A number of potholes very close together which make driving over them extremely difficult., 12th February
As marked on map. Holly Bush Lane near Didmarton. I have also reported the problem of similar pot holes a little further down the lane as these are on the county boarder between Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. I have reported this problem previously and it is an ongoing one. The pot holes are of high concern due to the annual Badminton Horse Trials which place in early May. There will be in excess of 180,000 visitors over the five days and many will drive in via this route. Thank you for your help.

Drain in road filled with tarmac, 19th January
There was a drain in the road here (see pin location); c 4 years ago the metal grill went missing and for a least a year there was a cone on the hole to warn walkers and drivers. The drain was then filled with tarmac. Not clear how effective the unfilled drain ever was - but since then the flooding at this end of Leighterton Lane and Creephole Lane has got worse and more frequent

Cross reference recent flooding of road, 15th January
Road drains opposite Joyce's Pool are blocked with mud and debris, coming mainly from the road verges rather than the water form the Pool. Drain gully and verges needs clearing and some form of barrier constructed around it to allow water to pass through but keep mud etc off the gully grid. Overflow from Pool should naturally pass via the pipework under the road (assuming these are clear of debris etc) and naturally into the reans and ditches in the field opposite
