Pavement guttering filled with silt blocking drains, 25th April

2 bus stops opposite each other where NO buses stop?, 13th April
There are two bus stops one with shelter outside Holiday Inn Express and one on the other side of the road with a bus stop sign. Also road markings showing Bus Stop! Neither stop ever has any Bus stopping there!! We have had to inform numerous people waiting at these “stops” that they are not in use!! Can they please be removed?

Huge potholes, 27th March
On the crossroads connecting Ferry Road with North Junction Street, the entire crossroads is riddled with huge potholes. A poor attempt seems to have been made a couple of months ago to patch one or two of them, they were filled barely halfway up and the remainder were just ignored. These potholes are very dangerous and could easily cause damage to vehicles and injury to cyclists.

4 or 5 sunken patches of road indicative of sunken pipes, 27th March
Roads falling apart at every corner here. Middle of the junction there is a large sunken patch more than 40mm deep and a plethora of others which when drivers try to avoid they'll end up injuring or killing a cyclist. Good job Edinburgh

Aggrivated Dog fowling, 21st March
Yesterday while sitting in my car two persons approached the rear of my car , when I looked I could see a dog bearing down , they started to walk away when I said are you going to pick that up the person with the dog started into a tirade about how it was only a pee the dog had done and they don’t carry a mop etc etc and I’m an ..shole etc etc I think they got mad cause they’d been caught and called out , anyway cut a long story short I’m a disabled blue bade owner and had recently told the council about me having problems standing in dog faeces carrying it into the car etc well after the tirade yesterday I awoke to this on my car all over the Door Handles ,mirrors ,window wipers, it beggars belief why they’d stoop so low to do this to a disabled person!

Services access cover loose, 7th March
The metal cover to a services access point on the roadbed of westbound Melrose Drive is loose and makes a loud noise any time a vehicle drives over it. This is an environmental problem in terms of noise and also poses a risk of damage to cars that use the road. I raised this issue in October but nothing has been done in all these months. This became a problem after some work was done nearby and perhaps the cover wasn’t reseated properly.

Food recycling bin lid is broken, 7th March
The lid on the food waste bin at this location is deformed and now partly opened. This has been allowing rats into the bin and causing an increase in rats around the flats adjacent. Residents have already complained to the council without result. This is a health hazard and the bin must be replaced immediately with a new bin.

Food recycling bin at north end of Portland Gardens has a lid that won’t shut. RATS have been seen in and around bin. Rat droppings are also evident in area!!
