Many potholes & edge of road damage on busy commuting road, 15th April
The whole road from Blackridge to Harthill is in major need of repair. I drive all round Scotland for work & is probably the worst road I drive on. Multiple neighbours have had burst tires. We've had 1 puncture and 1 bent wheel rim in the past month.
There are also multiple flood points, one near Blackridge which never dries up and cars have to permenantly drive round it & wait for oncoming traffic to pass.
The potholes get filled and a few days later they are back. Please could we have a proper resurfacing done ASAP.

Muck on road outside new Redburn Meadows Housing Development. Site vehicles are dragging muck onto road. Road is a mess. No sign of road sweeper. This is in contravention of the Highways act and Road Traffic act. Who from the council is inspecting these works? This hazard needs addressed as soon as possible.

Massive hole on slow lane of M8, 21st January
M8 eastbound leaving harthill services there is a massive hole in the slow lane causing cars to swerve into the other lane nearly causing accidents and if a car hits this it will cause severe damage to the vehicle.

Significant sized pothole on eastbound carriageway right outside Blackridge primary school. Asphalt is being flung onto footpath by vehicles. This is difficult to avoid due to adjacent traffic island. Maybe try something more substantial than repairing with cold tar.

Drainage covers in gutter near industrial units have been fitted with the slits running parallel to the road. This poses a danger to cyclists as the gaps are large enough to allow cycle tyres to fall through. The covers need rotated through 90% to make them safe.

This road is an utter disgrace and needs resurfacing asap.you have to drive in the centre of road as the surface is so bad nearer the edge.this is an accident waiting to happen,notwithstanding the damage to vehicles,this road must cause on a daily basis.
