Rubbish not collected, 12th June
Hi I clean Innerwick outdoor centre for ELC and am concerned that several large green bins outside the Centre on back lane have not been emptied. They are now overflowing and more guests are arriving this Thursday who will generate more rubbish. I was told by neighbors that bins would be emptied on a Monday fortnightly and I didn’t need to put them out on the road. This doesn’t seem to be happening. What can be done to sort this out? Regards Rhian Hunter

National Cycle Path (NCP) 76 between the cement works and Skateraw is not fit for purpose., 4th August
National Cycle Path (NCP) 76 between the cement works and Skateraw is completely overgrown and the path surface is getting progressively worse. I do not think it will be too long before a cyclist is involved in an incident where they are injured and their bike is damaged. We cycle along cycle paths to avoid conflict with vehicles but it is now qestionable as to wether it is safer to use this path or take your chance on the main road. Currently this part of the path is not fit for purpose.

Dog fouling., 20th December
Tenants in a neighbours property have a dog which they allow to foul in the Steading. They do pick up the poo, although not immediately it sometimes lies for hours or days so we regularly see it around he Steading. We have contacted the owners & they have asked their tenants to stop the dog from fouling the Steading but they are continuing to allow the dog to relief itself in the close proximity Steading. We have approached the owners again but they're getting fed up with us now & the problem continues.

Road surface falling apart, Market Road, 12th November
Road surface has deteriorated to such extent that running surface consists entirely of pothole filler that has been applied repeatedly over recent years. Consequently two situations persist: 1. Running surface is no longer compliant with surface regularity stayed within HAUC specification for road reinstatement. 2, Road surface is now breaking up between these ad hoc repairs. This stretch of road has been in this or similar condition for a number of years now. It was reported by me 12 months ago and repairs were intimated to be imminent but still no action. This condition is leading to increased traffic flows through Innerwick village and residents are complaining of increased risks of traffic - pedestrian conflict.
