Commercial vehicles parking not allowed, 30th March
The problem is that it's a elha area and all told not aloud to park any commercial vehicles but keeps happening there's hardly any parking as street full of vans so struggling to even park. I'm disabled and even I struggle to get parked. Also a neighbour washes cars for living keeps validating cars in street too.

2 x lamp post shining into bedroom, 19th July
Hi - we have two lamp posts shining into our bedroom, one through the bedroom and the other through the landing window directly opposite the bedroom door. Even with curtains and blinds closed there is still glare. We keep the bedroom door open for circulation, otherwise the room is too stuffy to sleep in. It would be great if there was some short of light shield to block the light coming in through our windows but still lighting the street and path. Cheers.

Almost non-existent streetlighting on right hand side of Newton Port, 19th November
The whole right hand side of the street is very poorly lit; the street is almost in complete darkness. The street lights that are working are not very effective at all. There are no streetlights operational at all in the surgery car park.

Roots coming through pavement, 16th January
The tree roots are coming up through the pavement making it tricky to pass with my little girl in her buggy - it has got worse since the snow/ice last year and will probably be worse this year too!

Persistent dog fouling on public pavement and discarded cigarrette ends, 9th February
Every day I am picking up dog faeces left on pavement and discarded cigarette ends. This happens in an area next to a walk way to the river in Long Cram Haddington near the school field. I don't own a dog. There are no signs up in this area to alert dog owners about picking up their dog poo, please could some signs be put up , maybe on lamp posts. How long do I need to continue to pick up dog poo and discarded cigarette ends for?

Constant parking outside the Town House Fish Bar., 13th November
People keep parking in front of the chip shop when they're collecting an order. If it's busy, the cars can be parked there for up to 20 minutes, causing a bottle neck to get down Market Street. Buses can get stuck there until someone comes out and moves their car. There is a similar, but slightly less common issue outside the Sue Ryder shop, two doors down, where people park to drop off donations, then look around the shop. There is a narrow turn off at the side of the Sue Ryder shop, and anyone parking in front of the shop blocks residents from being able to drive up the close to the car park.
