Theres a horse box parked on this pin that never moves its on the junction it totally blocks the view causing countless near misses its been years. I have nearly been hit my self an endless amount of times because it blocks views of both sides of the road and with the cars parked along side it makes it a one way so they have to swing right round assuming its clear and when its not near misses happen especially with smaller vehicals such as motorbikes.

Road gulley traps/drains are blocked, 5th April
Serious flooding caused by road drainage problem. Every time it rains heavily this rood floods as the drains are not working properly. Lift the manhole covers to discover serious silting and roots from plants. Please fix this. Thanks from the Kirknewton Community Council

Recent patch repairs on the whole of Leyden Road have not worked and is worse than before this was undertaken, 22nd March
Last year parts of Leyden Road were patched but over the winter it is apparent these patches have not worked and the road is very uneven and parts or it are breaking up again

Drains continuously blocked, 18th March
Road was repaired last year and it is now breaking down and potholes are reappearing.. The verges have all but disappeared and there is a problem with the method of patching the road.

Worn out/missing centre line, 11th March
The centre line is completely worn out. On the B7031 for its entire length past the airfield within the Edinburgh council boundary. Outhwith the Edinburgh section, in West Lothian it is fine. Issue is from approx 120m north of A70 junction for to about 1km.

The repairs done a year ago have unfortunately started to crumble along the length of Leyden Rd, but this is one particularly notable area.
I know nothing about the new technique used, but it clearly hasn't worked.
