Large deep pothole, 29th March
A large deep pothole has appeared on the B6415 when entering Old Craighall village from the Millerhill end (just after the speed limit changes to 20mph). It has caused damage to my tyre. We were unable to avoid it due to oncoming traffic.

Deep pothole, 12th January
This pothole is from this winter, but it's on a sustrans cycle route and is right in the cyclists path. It's very deep, any cyclist hitting it would come off and/or damage their bike. I commute past it regularly but due to the light at this time of year I can't easily get a photo. There's a new development being built on this road so it's likely made worse by the heavy vehicles, I don't know if they have additional responsibilities to maintain the access route.

Important road signs completely obscured., 7th September
Both signs displaying the layout and directions of the Old Craighall roundabout are almost completely obscured by overgrown trees. Aside from being frustrating and confusing for road users, it is particularly vital for learner drivers from the nearby test centre who need to be able to see the signs to complete the 'Independent Driving' part of their driving test (which requires the candidate to direct their own way somewhere using road signs).

Blocked gulley drain putside 36 Stoneybank Terrace, 16th May
This gutter floods badly each time it rains making a deep, huge, long puddle preventing access to vehicles or for pedestrians crossing road. It has been like this for over a year and attempts to clear it have resulted in the conclusion that "it is broken" by the drivers of the big suction tankers. This needs to be addressed.

Misleading road sign, 30th April
The speed on this oad has been reduced to 30 and has been for some time now due to all the building work. There is a recommended max speed sign of 40 showing on the bend which is misleading . Could this be covered until the temporary signs are removed if they ever are.

Cycle lanes to royal infirmary and back, 18th January
Today was the first day staff could no longer park free without permits at the Royal Infirmary so a large proportion of staff changed their travel habits. Active travel addresses the obesity epidemic and the climate crisis therefore governments and local authorities are promoting travel by foot, bike and bus etc. Road traffic accidents involving bikes are higher than they should be. This morning I drove from Haddington to tbe park and ride at Shawfair where I started cycling the 2 miles to work at the RIE. I found cycle lane markings missing in many places or not visible enough in both directions on route and therefore cars were driving very close to the road edge making it much more dangerous for me. At one point a van mounted the pavement and the cycle lane to get to a roundabout a second or two faster, blocking my passage. Also the cycle lanes were covered in mud in several places making it more dangerous. For part of the route the cycle lane was in tbe bus lane, and in other areas I could see a bus lane but no cycle lane markings making it confusing and stressful. If Edinburgh council is serious about behaviour change to active travel they need to consider cycle safety more and maintain these cycle routes which potentially could reduce traffic.

URGENT* Massive pothole. cars are being damaged. cars veering to other side to avoid, 29th December
Huge pothole on this road. I have witnessed couple cars with damaged wheels calling rescue services. Cars swerving last minute to avoid. There needs to be cones put up to warn if it cant be fixed over the holidays. Please help with this.

Speed on this road into a residential area and playground, 29th July
This road is a national speed limit. Its far too narrow to be 60 for cats with the overgrown hedges and uneven surface. ALSO at the end you enter into a zone 20, right next to a playground. So reducing speed suddenly from 60 to 20, not the safest.
