Drain cover has somehow come off & gone down drain. Drains at end of street blocked too., 7th May
Drain with cover down it is at the end of cul-de-sac at Durham Grove Bonnyrigg. Two drains at end were unblocked by Council at end of last year. However street still gets flooded with heavy rain. Eventually clears but both partially blocked. Young kids play there so open drain is a safety risk. Please could it be fixed?

Crumbling speed bump & subsidence at driveway, 4th May
This has been emailed twice to the council already and still not rectified. At the entrance to our drive are speed bumps. We are unable to reverse into our drives without causing damage to the front of our cars. We then have to nosey park which causes a hazard when reversing out at a busy /blind corner as cannot see vehicles or pedestrians.
The damage to our cars is worse .. no other speed bump on Maryfield Place is at anyone's driveway.
Could this be moved from the front of the drive and the road repaired to allow us to reverse in and then drive out safely please

Deep deep potholes - still not fixed, 25th March
This series of potholes was first reported to Midlothian Council in early February but they haven't been touched. The holes are getting deeper and more dangerous by the day.
Four significant potholes can be found along a stretch of Westmill Road, outside 1-6 Westmill Court and 12 Westmill Road (St Leonard's). Given that the road is narrow and has an unacceptable level of on-street parking, it is becoming increasingly difficult for vehicles to take avoiding action. These holes need fixing properly, and not in a way that will necessitate further action in a month's time. This issue has been reported to the council twice in the last two months using its 'dedicated' road defects web page.
