Drain cover has somehow come off & gone down drain. Drains at end of street blocked too., 7th May
Drain with cover down it is at the end of cul-de-sac at Durham Grove Bonnyrigg. Two drains at end were unblocked by Council at end of last year. However street still gets flooded with heavy rain. Eventually clears but both partially blocked. Young kids play there so open drain is a safety risk. Please could it be fixed?

B704 road markings, 29th April
No white lines and very faded lines between gorebridge and cockpen church especially on the bad corners just before bridge with traffic lights and no white lines at very bad corner at cockpen crossroads, bear in mind there is no street lighting, this is now beyond dangerous,the lines have been missing for a long time and is making this a prblamatic journey in the dark, extremley unsafe

Several large deep potholes and poor drainage all along road, 28th February
Road condition deteriorated massively over winter, now very bad. It is the only access road and currently difficult to walk with a buggy. The drainage as well as the potholes needs fixed.

Large pothole on the speed bump, 22nd January
I have reported this about 5/6 months ago to the council via email and it's just getting worse, most of us are having to go on the wrong side of the road to avoid. Major safety issue as we don't want to blow our tyres either.

Blocked drain at the end of cul-de-sac Durham Grove., 27th October
Drain in the corner at the end of Durham Grove is blocked & urgently needs cleared out. Very narrow street so these are the only parking spaces & people can't park there for the flooding.

Drain just outside the entrance to Tesco Express car park at Staiside Court has been blocked for so long, the gardening dept. need to cut the grass! Please can someone come & clear it out? Thanks.

Sign replaced after recent resurfacing. Facing wrong direction!, 10th August
Recent work took place at the start of Rosewell Road opposite Tesco Express. Pavement was widened/resurfaced. Just finished about last weekend. Signs were taken down then put back up. The Penicuik - Dalkeith Cycleway is in the opposite direction to where it's pointing in the photo!

Newly resurfaced areas but problem of huge puddles not solved, 23rd July
Rosewell Rd Bonnyrigg areas very recently closed for resurfacing/addition of bumpy dropped kerbs for visually impaired assistance. Road ends only just finished at ends of Hopefield Place/Terrace Bonnyrigg but the huge puddles were back this a.m. Not much help for visually impaired! Drain at the end of Hopefield Place was blocked too.
