No white lines and very faded lines between gorebridge and cockpen church especially on the bad corners just before bridge with traffic lights and no white lines at very bad corner at cockpen crossroads, bear in mind there is no street lighting, this is now beyond dangerous,the lines have been missing for a long time and is making this a prblamatic journey in the dark, extremley unsafe

Very deep pot hole around ironworks at the top of the brae Melville Dykes Road, 27th April
Very deep pothole around ironworks on top of the brae, you end up in the pot hole before you realise it is there. Unable to stop and take photograph as it is not safe to do so due to fast moving on coming traffic. This pot hole will cause damage to wheels/tyres if it is left unrepaired.

Eskbank road, 9th March
On the road in to Dalkeith there are two potholes in close proximity to one another. Because of this it has damaged my spring to my driver front wheel. It has cost me £500 to fix and £237 last year to replace two tyres! I only work part time so I am struggling financially now thanks to laziness on part of Midlothian council

Number of deep potholes along Westmill Road, 19th February
Four significant potholes can be found along a stretch of Westmill Road, outside 1-6 Westmill Court and 12 Westmill Road (St Leonard's). Given that the road is narrow and has an unacceptable level of on-street parking, it is becoming increasingly difficult for vehicles to take avoiding action. These holes need fixing properly, and not in a way that will necessitate further action in a month's time. This issue has been reported to the council twice in the last two and a half weeks using its 'dedicated' road defects web page.
