The road has become hazardous, with numerous potholes that are frequently repaired only to reappear with each rainfalla common occurrence in Edinburgh. Additionally, the implementation of car parking and bin stations has reduced the road to a single lane, necessitating at least one side of street parking to be parallel. The area is heavily trafficked by large vans and trucks throughout the day, creating a bottleneck situation where the road surface is perilously unsafe.
