Pothole on road/cycleway problem, 22nd March
Travelling from caistor to grasby entering village, roads wet, dark skies. 2 cars behind me. Me turning left into village. One car coming out of the village. Heard a bang. Managed to get home. Came out later, tried to drive car. Lots of grinding & cluncking trying to turn. Got out car realised dropped on one side, wheel arch almost on top of tyre. Waiting for breakdown to take car to garage. I have guessed the measurements as i didnt take a measure with me, and its too dangerous to take measurements there as top of village and cars speed past.

Grasby Wold Lane, 13th March
There is a quarry on the crossroads, there is a lot of lorry's using the road. At times there is 3-4 inches of mud on the road and it is making the road very slippery and a hazard. The vehicles are not being cleaned before leaving the site. This has been the case for the past few year. Customer would like the road to be accessed as he thinks it is unsuitable for the lorry's.

At Grasby Wold Lane at the Quarry entrance, 16th February
There is a continuous stream of lorries leading earth/spoil to the quarry. The road is covered in mud extending in both directions from the site entrance. There is often a road sweeper parked on the road but this is completely ineffective considering the quantity of spoil on the road.
Moving further north towards Grasby bottoms the verges have been disturbed as lorries pass each other spreading wet earth into the road.
Mud and debris on the road presents a significant hazard and skid risk. The speed of the lorries is also of concern as it is necessary to take evasive action as they pass.
Lorries drive past the entrance hold up traffic and reverse into the site with no banskman, signs or other warning signs.
This activity has been ongoing for several weeks and appears likely to extend for may more.
I would like the activities to be audited to ensure risks are suitably addressed in advance of any potential injury.

Road condition worsening, 7th February
This part of the road is worsening by the week.
The tarmac is coming loose and will eventually cause deep potholes. For now the potholes are not too deep but can be felt when driving and can’t be avoided.

Grasby, Brigg road, past the pub and past the turn. Is on left hand side as you head to Brigg across from the houses on your right, 31st January
Large pothole on edge of left side of road. When another car is passing it forces you to drive over it and its big. I'm concerned it will damage my car and or cause an accident. Has been there over 6 months and would have thought they would have seen it recently when the road was on temporary traffic lights.

From Nigel the dog to the very top of the lane at the main road, 27th September
The road is a mess. The edges are breaking off and being swept down the lane into our drain and we are flooded with silt mud franc and storms from the whole lane way. The whole road needs widening and resurfacing. They have been out recently to patchwork up potholes and I watched as they did one then skipped three big ones to do another one. I think it should be looked at as a big project rather than. The road is too small for the tractors so it breaks the edges and then rain arrives and flushes it to a blocked drain.
Please can you look at a full resurface from the main road down past us.

The length of Searby Wold Lane, 27th September
You came (thank you) to repair some of the potholes down our lane but missed loads! They are along the edge of the road. The tractors that use our road and the machinery is way too wide and often straddles the grass verges too. The road isnt strong enough for the machinery and the potholes keep re appearing.
