Two trees as seen in the photos have had some sort of chemical ?? but that is my assumption and question as these trees were previously healthy and thriving . One tree is dying on the side to the road. I would be most grateful if you could look into this and advise.This has occurred over the last few week and has recently accelerated greatly from beautiful healthy trees to this.

On Mill Road opposite Millway., 28th April
Surface water drain blocked. This was caused by Anglian Water pumping sludge into it from their nearby excavations to repair a water main. Reported blocked previously but still not functioning, water covering much of the carriageway this morning.

What is wrong? Highways refuse to accept that the surface water drain serving this junction is blocked and has been for months. They state that it has been inspected and that they have cleared it, but this is obviously not clear. This abdication of responsibility is allowing a large body of water to accumulate, covering more than half the carriage way several inches deep. It is potentially a danger to all road users. This is also inundates the regular drop-off point in the village for school buses.
