Potholes being ignored, 27th October
There have been numerous potholes on Sturton Road but only the ones further down the street nearer to the village have been filled. The ones further up Sturton Road have been ignored and now have different coloured markings on them as they have been ignored more than once. This has also happened with the drains being emptied, done at the lower end of the street but the workers can't be bothered to check further up the road where they are also full. This is not good enough!

Completely worn out road surface, 31st August
The main road through North Leverton is absolutely dreadful. The road surface has completely disintegrated in places and in others there is a patchwork quilt of repairs and damage done by burst pipe repairs where the road has been dug up and then replaced on several occasions. The road edge by the White Post bungalows and toward Home Rise has been broken down and the vehicles are now driving on what should be the verge. This is a very busy road with heavy traffic, buses, lorries and farm vehicles using it on a daily basis and the road surface is just not fit for purpose. I shudder to think what would happen if a vehicle had to make an emergency stop... possibly the road surface would just come up. Please do something about this before another winter makes it even worse.

Damage to property, 31st August
Property is being damaged as a result of a busy main road not being maintained, A kerb is desperately needed to help define the edge of the carriageway and prevent cars breaking down the edge of the road.
The pot holes and degraded section in front of the house need resurfacing to bring the area back up to road level.
Please can you help to resolve this as in the past 5 years since the problem was first reported it has got significantly worse and my property continues to be damaged as a result. Over the past 5 years no repairs or effort to improve this has been undertaken by the Council.

Very poor road surface throughout 'Main street' - Please fix, 31st August
This issue has been getting worse over a number of years - this was initially raised by myself in 2015 it is now in need of immediate action.
Please see attached images detailing the issues below.
Pot holes gathering water and sharp edges pose danger to cyclists and cars.
New top surface required - full area is breaking down and full surface has sunk down from the overall road level
Hazardous exposed concrete and metal corners, caused by the edge of the carriage way not being clear to road users resulting in them driving off the carriage way and on to the verge, lack of kerb is allowing the road edge to degrade significantly.
64cm of verge degradation, edge of road collapsing and breaking down - kerb installation required to redefine edge of carriage way as it is currently unclear to road users

Blocked drains, 15th January
I reported this drain 4 months ago and had a phone call from a local council worker about 3 months ago as he inspected the blocked drain. he said there was only 1 machine for the whole of Nottinghamshire but I still didn't think the drain would be blocked this long. Our village had flooded over the years so this is not satisfactory. Please advise when this is likely to be attended to as now the other drains on Sturton road need clearing, not just the one I reported near the doctors surgery, adjacent to Sturton Road Farm
