Queen street riddled with potholes, has been for a while and nothing gets done apart from poor repair attempts every now and then, the street is a main bus route, route to train station and has cars parked either side, accident waiting to happen. Both mine and my partners cars rattle and knock over bumps, council don’t seem interested, needs sorting asap

Potholes and poorly repaired pot holes on edge of cycle lane, 18th January
Potholes along the division line between cycle lane and road just before the mini roundabout. When you are crossing to get in lane for the roundabout it’s very hazardous as you check for traffic and checking for potholes/lumps.

Streer being used as a builders yard, 28th October
The street is being used as a builders/scaffolding yard multiple lorries blocking pavements and drives in evenings and weekends. Noise before 6am waking residents with scaffolding equipment being thrown from one lorry to another.
So two issues one noise in early hours.
And second access in an emergency as fire engines wouldn't be able to access also pavements blocked.

Car parked blocking pedestrians from using the footpath., 25th October
Pedestrians are being forced to move onto the road / highway to pass the vehicular obstruction. The road / highway is busy with vehicles accessing residences and the adjacent golf course.

Cars parking on pavement, 30th August
As you walk down the street cars park regularly on the path on one side of the street causing an obstruction to pedestrian, on particular users of wheelchairs or parents with pushchairs. Often pedestrians have to walk in the middle of the road to get around them. The reason the cars park this way is to avoid I suppose any damage to their cars without considering damage to pedestrians

Industrial waste, 9th August
Industrial waste or delivery been sat on pavement for 7 weeks now. Its enough with the road being used as a Industrial unit storing 3 scaffolding lorries at night and employees vehicles through the day but the pavement should not be used as a storage area.

Bottom growth of Lime trees on North road at West Court junction, 29th June
The lime tree which have been lopped on North Road Retford, at the junction of west court are now growing rapidly from the bottom. This is severely preventing visibility when turning out of West Court. The trees are to the right and on the roundabout side. Its hard to see oncoming traffic from the roundabout and especially bicycles and motorbikes.

Commercial Long Wheel Based Transit Van parking on shared access area, 4th January
Large commercial vehicle (long wheel based transit van) parking on the shared access area of the street and area which is marked as “denotes services easement”. Where the large vehicle parks makes it difficult at times to get through. The vehicle also leaves limescale / mud on the road. The vehicle is Breedon company, and I believe belongs to 5 Canterbury Close.

Trees bushes overgrown on the pavement cause people to walk on the road

Monkey run trees overgrown, 6th June
The path known as the monkey run that encompasses the old bridon works estate is now overgrown with trees and dog faeces. Council owned trees are overhanging at face height on the path.
There is also a problem with unregistered motor bikes now using the path at speed. The riders have no regard for the fact it is a footpath and it is only a matter of time that they injure someone.
