Cars parking dangerously, 25th March
Cars keep parking directly opposite and very close to the junction making it dangerous when turning out as you cannot see down the road. Also on the other junction at the bottom of the road to turn onto Galway crescent another vehicle keeps parking directly opposite the junction. This causes drivers to go on the wrong side of the road when turning in the junction which is an accident waiting to happen.

Beach hedge blocking veiw, 7th September
Exiting the drive of Nairn Lodge, the beach hedge is 7 to 9 feet deep, meaning that cars have to enter Sutton Lane 7 to 9 feet before they can see if the road is clear. Obviously, as we move towards Autumn and Winter, the chances of slipping on wet and icy roads we will increase and so will the chance of being struck by an unseen vehicle coming along Sutton Lane.

We've lived here for seven years.. Cut twice in all that time. My husband has attempted to keep tidy. We have been told.. Owned by network rail. They denied this. Highways also denied responsibility... Initially. Representative from highways showed husband paperwork in approx March 2021stating that highways have finally taken on responsibility for it. Could we get it tidied up... PLEASE?

Dangerous parking, 6th June
The residents of number 32 Rectors Gate moved onto the street in August 2019 and from day 1 have parked both of their cars on the road despite having a double garage and ample off road parking available to them. They continue to park dangerously/illegally. As you can see from the photos they are parked on a bend of the street incorporating the junction on the path facing the wrong way. This is causing dangerous conditions for residents needing to enter/exit the area and causing restrictions for their neighbour reversing out of their drive. Also the refuse lorry has problems accessing that part of the street and has to mount the kerb as a result thus damaging the path/kerb stones. The residents of number 32 have been approached by several neighbours about this and have ignored them. Please can you do something about this as there have been a few near misses already. Also they drive onto the path at the entrance of number 30 which could one day cause an accident. Please can someone sort this out. Thank you

Large pothole on road, 9th July
The pothole has been gradually getting bigger and bigger over around 4 months, the pothole has been circled by road maintenance for over 3 weeks since it occurred and still nothing has been done. The pothole I just before the traffic lights so it is hard to concentrate on the road and traffic in front aswell as the pothole. After I hit the pothole it made a large bang and my car continue to make large sqeeking noises. Luckily I had my car booked in for a service the following day so I was able to get the work done caused by the pothole. It has cost me 4 x what it should have and I don’t want this to happen to another road user. Please get this sorted ASAP. Thank you
