Street light on 24 hours a day, 16th January
This light is on 24 hours a day. It has been reported previously and I was emailed back saying it had been fixed.
Fixed on? Because it is still on 24 hours a day!

Open Manhole, 29th September
There is a manhole cover outside our house on the side of the road. It is completely overgrown due to the lack of maintenance to the grass verge. (I was unaware that it even existed). This has caused the manhole cover to rot.
Following routine maintenance to the side of my property I inadvertently stepped on the said manhole cover and proceeded to fall through to the manhole below.
Much to the amusement of my watching public at the pub across the road. Needless to say, I clawed my way out covered in brown stuff with a damaged leg and ego.
In order to prevent further accidents, I straightened out the manhole cover and replaced it before ringing through to the Council to advise of the problem. (Man hole ref no- 103701156)
I would be most grateful if somebody could attend the site and rectify the problem forthwith, as my telephone request has been in vain.

The lamp post it continually on, 29th September
Following an accident in the village last week (Further up the road) which involved a vehicle crashing into a pole mounted transformer, the lamp post outside our house is constantly illuminated.
Could you please arrange for the relevant department to rectify this fault.
