Trees blocking signage of shop, 15th May
We currently occupy 102B & 102 Station Road Sidcup. Outside both of these shops are blossom trees that are having a detrimental effect on my business as customers are missing the signs when they drive past. We have currently occupied 102B Station Road for 90 years and therefore for another reputable business to close in Sidcup will not be very good for the area. There are no trees planted outside Tesco despite pavement being wide or under the bridge where the shutter shop etc. are located. If we were offices that is one thing but when you are trying to advertise your business and your signage cannot be seen clearly that is another. They also cause considerable mess when they blossom as all the debris blows into the shops when the doors are opened. We were not consulted when the tress were being planted and if they were all the way down the road on both sides obstructing other shops that is one thing but it appears that ours is the main retail premises where signage is being blocked and less emphasis is being given to shop window etc. The rest of the premises in this part of Station Road are offices apart from the Tile shop which is now closing down.

Crumbling road service around manhole cover, 15th May
Large patches of pavement around this manhole cover are collapsing. They have been a problem for a while and look to have been filled once fairly recently, but those repairs are now failing. There are 3 larger areas which are causing quiet significant dips in the pathway. 2 other areas are starting to collapse as well. This alleyway / pathway are in constant use, mainly by school children going to nearby schools, and poses a potential hazard if someone should trip or fall into one of the holes.
