Blocked drainage pipe., 9th February
On Church Lane, Chesterton, after the recent heavy rain there seems to be a blockage in the pipe which leads from this grate, ( which is clear of debris), under the road and into the ditch on that side. As a result, the standing water in the road is not draining away and, furthermore, will cause another hazard if the temperature drops and it freezes. This has been an ongoing issue for several years when the weather is poor.
