Accident - Blocked drain causing an accident., 4th April
Has been like this for several months. The blocked drain on the verge causes the road to fill with water and the verge to get very soft. on 27 Mar. A delivery lorry had an accident when it went on to the verge to avoid an oncoming car. The lorry sank into the verge and popped and bust a tyre and ripped of it's front bumper. The van almost fell over but was saved by the trees on the verge which supported the vehicle. The recovery vehicle took quite a lot of time to recover the vehicle and had blocked the road.

Overhanging trees and hedgerow obstructing the sightlines, 8th October
This has caused several near misses (that I have seen) The hedgerow has grown 4 to 6 ft into the road. It is a single track road, with a bend and a hill. When the hedge is trimmed, the sight line is tolerable at 20 mph. In the current state it is not safe at any speed. I would consider this a high risk for a preventable accident.

30MPH Speed Sign dug up and moved to make way for future drop curb planning application at 14 Little Baddow Road, 6th July
LOCATION: 14 Little Baddow Road Danbury Chelmsford Essex CM3 4NT
REF - 23/00182/ENFB.
ATTN - Stephanie O'Grady
Hi Stephanie
Further to my recent messages I would like to point out something else to you that is of great concern to us and local residents. A 30 MPH speed sign has been dug up and moved about 5 metres along the road by the owner/builders. This is for them to have room to put in an application for a drop curb in the future.
Surely this is not only illegal but extremely dangerous ( I have attached some images so you can see sign position before vs after. One image shows the fresh concrete where they have repositioned the sign )
As mentioned before they need a drop curb to access a planned new build in the garden space directly next to our property at No 1 Hay Green. This garden space has now been cordoned off and will be left to rot. This is of course an environmental hazard and trick to convince council land would look better if developed.
I'm sorry to keep complaining and not sure if you've had a chance to inspect as yet? I do think moving the sign is particularly desperate and dangerous. It's now half positioned behind a tree so can't be clearly seen by oncoming vehicles.
I await your response
Regards
Susan Williams / Robbie Player 1 Hay Green 07421821737

Tree falling across the bridleway, 1st December
This tree was reported several weeks ago, and a minor branch was removed.
However, the tree was resting against small branches and was obviously going to fall further
It has now fallen to block the bridleway. I is quite precarious and will need an experiences person to make it safe.
