Flooding of highway, 10th April
In the 6 years we have lived in the Street we have not had continuous water running down the hill however water has appeared at the spot on the map and has been reported to Anglian water. They say they have inspected it and it is ground water. Speaking with our neighbours every one is of the opinion it is a mains water leak. It is eroding the bank on the field side of the road as there is no kerb causing mud and mess and eventually will erode the road surface which was relaid about a year ago. if nothing is done it will render a dangerous road surface especially if it freezes over. The side of the road and a large area at the bottom of the hill is now continually wet and under water with water continually flowing. The neighbours i have spoken to who have been here longer than us have not seen this before and we are convinced its a water leak. There is some building work at No 1 the Cottages and it is mainly coming from the road outside this and up through 2 inspection cover near the Bell public house.

Wide and deep potholes across most of the road, 7th November
This has been getting worse for months. One cyclist has already suffered a broken arm and concussion after hitting it. Often filled with water so less obvious. Drivers now churning up verge to avoid it.

At least thirty potholes between Limebrook link and the junction to Purleigh, 4th November
There are at least thirty large potholes between Limebrook link alond Fambridge Rd to the road to Purleigh. They have been there several months and are getting bigger. Some are very deep and have damaged my car's shock absorber. Have reported on the highway agency but nothing has happened. Please look into it. Many thanks

Several pot holes an sunk drain covers, 5th September
They are in the left side of the road starting at "cowmans cottage" and continue for about 20 yards in the direction of north fambridge.

Manhole, 18th May
The manhole/drain opposite our house causes our house to excessively shake when HGV’s / lorries pass over it. Objects visibly rattle and cracks have appeared on walls etc. This issue has been a problem for many years, but seems to be getting worse.

Footpath damaged by vehicle movement, 7th December
The footpath has been damaged by farm traffic. Causing serious deep ridges (tracks). Drainage is also poor causing serious muddy conditions

Large and deep hole vicinity Royal Oak pub, 17th January
There is a very large, deep hole on the left hand side of Fambridge Road, leaving Maldon, driving towards fambridge, near tpo the Royal Oak pub. It may be a pot hole, or a drain where the metal grille has been removed. It is deep and must be a serious problem for cyc;es and motorbikes, as well as casuimg damage to a car.

Foot path from blind lane to roundbush, 20th June
Our foot path no longer exists we have lived here over 25 years and always had a safe walk to the top of the hill now there is no path my wife is disabled uses a wheelchair but i cannot take her up the hill as this is far to fast now and very dangerous plus the passing bays also make it impossible this needs to be looked at urgent before a family member or a member of the public get killed reduce the speed limit and give me back my foot path please plus all the heavy traffic now is causing damage and subsidence to our cottage

Potholes, 30th March
We had some potholes repaired recently in this area,the smaller ones did not get repaired and they are getting bigger and deeper each day.
If they do not receive attention soon they will become a bigger problem as this is a bus route and used by heavy farm vehicles

Pothole, 6th March
Large pothole on Maldon bound side of B1018 Fambridge Road - This has damaged wheels. Multiple smaller potholes along complete length of Fambridge Road from Frambridge to Maldon in both directions.

B1010 Junction at Purliegh Roundbush, 15th February
15/02/2010 Travelling towards Maldon numerous developing potholes for 100 yards forcing cars to drive in middle of road.
Could cause tyre and / or wheel damage as well as causing suspension damage and / or wheel alignment problems.

Speeding cars and motor bikes, 6th November
The speed limit is 40 but few cars and bikes go at 40 or under. Also it is not un-common for cars and bikes to be overtaking on blind spots this makes the road very dangerous. It needs more monitoring ie speed cameras and traffic calming measures also a no over taking sign in either direction would be great. Also one of the light up speed signs to let people know they are speeding like the have in Danbury would be fantastic thankyou
