Fly tipping - a pile of dirty old carpets dumped on the roadside., 23rd November
This pile of rubbish appeared over the weekend. It is terribly unsightly and my fear is that it will 'attract' others to dump their rubbish here too, making it an even bigger issue.

Several hundred metres of deep potholes!craters on Greenquarries Lane CA7 8BT, 30th April
These deep potholes /craters have been on Greenquarries Lane for several months plus despite many complaints.The road surface from the T junction at Rosley Rigg to Greenquarries Farm is in a dangerous condition for both cyclists and motorists.The lane is usually in constant use by locals/delivery vehicles/school buses/utility vehicles and farm traffic.The almost impassable condition of the lane surface has impelled most people to seek alternative routes/diversions . CA7 8BT .

Sign post to Sandy Brow missing and damaged road width restriction sign, 21st August
The Sandybrow sign has blown off in the wind again. Looks like an HGV has hit the width restriction sign. The post is damaged and bent over the ditch.

Several large , deep potholes on Greenquarries Lane Rosley, 16th December
Potholes are extensive and deteriorating rapidly , already proving hazardous and potentially dangerous to road users Condition of poorly maintained road surface was previously reported and some time afterwards an attempt was made at temporary repair. This has further exacerbated an unsatisfactory situation and will inevitably lead to damage to vehicles and possibly to public safety .

Several potentially damaging potholes especially on western aspect of Greenquarries Lane between Rosley and Weston ., 17th February
These potholes have existed over a long period, temporary inadequate repairs have been attempted on a number of occasions.The present condition of the road surface is unacceptable especially given that the volume of traffic is increasing.

Street sign pointing wrong way, 19th October
At the junction shown on the map something has caused the sign for Sandy Brow to move so it is now pointing towards Sebergham rather than towards Sandy Brow making it hard to see espacially at night.

This is the second time of reporting for this pothole. It was mended but so badly that the hole was back within weeks. An area of about 2 sqm needs digging up and filling correctly
