Potholes and flooding, 11th March
Regular issue with surface water at this location by the old lonning. The water then freezes and creates a skid hazard (causing accidents on the sharp bend). Potholes are also forming.

Water coming out of manway cover, 23rd January
Continuing issue.Water overflowing from grating and manway. The whole road is covered in water.when it freezes it creates a dangerous situation for cars,motorcycles,pedestrians.

Road surfce broken up leaving potholes., 29th May
The road surface is broken up and strewn with potholes .A lot of cyclists pass through the village , The surface is difficult to negotiate with the potential for a serious accident. This comment is through experience as I cycle this route regularly.

The water gathers outside her house and either runs down her drive or if a wagon goes passed, the water splashes up on to her living room window

Long stretch of potholes, 4th September
The road between Buckabank and Raughton has long stretches of deep potholes - mainly along the south/west side of the road. They have been bad for over a year, but are now deteriorating rapidly forcing cars to veer onto wrong side of road to avoid. Many blind bends make avoiding potholes almost impossible. Very dangerous and bordering on suicidal for cyclists.
There has been a 'temporary road surface' sign in place for over a year - the holes are getting worse.

Late night dog fouling - every night!, 25th June
[edited for privacy - details sent to council], allowing their dog to roam the estate at night by its self. The dog is fouling on everyones front lawn.

A problem for many, 9th June
It has been noticed that the person living at [edited for privacy - details sent to council] allows his dog to roam freely around the estate at approximately 11pm very night without the owner being present. The purpose of letting the dog out is of cause to allow the dog to move its bowls. The owner is not in the slightest bit bothered that the dog is fouling on every ones front lawn. If he was bothered he'd let the dog off in his own back garden or pick up the mess. It has also been noticed that he does not pickup his dogs fouling within the village of Dalston. Please help! This has been going on since he moved here over 1 year ago. It would be good to make all dog owners in the village a where of their responsibilities.

Litter, 22nd April
The footpath from Dalston to Carlisle via the River Caldew. Litter is a serious problem and has never (to my knowledge) been tackled. It is particularly bad near Caldew School but is poor along the length of the foot/cycle path
