Merge Lane, 8th February
Who had the idea of increasing the length of the merge lane coming off the Howgate roundabout or having one at all?
This merge lane has now increased the possibilities of road rage as drivers try to push back into the lane! It’s also increased the length of tailbacks!
What an absolute joke this road has become…congratulations for worsening the road layout and for making the situation even worse!

A number of street lights approaching the lowca junction on the A595 are not working at all, 21st November
Since your Moresby improvements lights on approach to lowca junction are not working. There are also several other along the lowca/paatoj stretch of the other side of road (nearest hill) on occasion there are every second one not working

Howgate Distington speed camera, 14th November
Flashing at every car even under the 40 MPH limit. Travelling at 30 MPH last night and flashed there and back.

Faulty Speed Camera, 13th November
There is severe rain and wind today and I drove through the speed camera zone at 30mph (it is a 40mph limit) and the camera flashed. I have been watching the speed camera since driving through and it is flashing at every car that is driving past. Therefore the camera must have a fault as I was way under the speed limit and it flashed every car.

Speed Camera incorrect calibration or set speed, 5th November
Travelling Southbound at approx 1500hrs 5th Nov’23 on the B5306 in a 40mph limit doing 40mph, exactly the same as every other day, but camera flashed. I assume no ticket will be issued since no offence committed but this does represent a distressing distraction to concentration whilst driving and needs to be rectified to avoid a potential incident. A temporary 30mph limit does start after the speed check area so this can not be a factor.

Speed camera continually flashing even when no vehicles present, 21st September
The speed camera closest to the roundabout is flashing every few seconds even when no vehicles are there.

Speed camera heading east is continuously flashing. It is like having a strobe light in our bedroom

Unknown people parking outside our house for days on end, 6th September
Several cars pull up and park outside out house often blocking the gate and access to our property or we can't get our own car parked outside out home, child is disabled.
Several cars turn up and they all get Into another car and are parked for 8-12 hours from around 11am until 11pm-1am they are often loud and rev their engines ect when they return.
Residents have asked nicely if they can park elsewhere but are just met with hostility.

15 inch pot hole, 2nd September
Pot hole been there for months. It's about 15 inch diameter and 6inch deep. Hard to avoid driving through it so people are mounting pavement to avoid

Bus Stop pole falling over, 24th July
A recent installation of a new bus stop pole and timetable is leaning over and is loose in the ground which could be dangerous if it falls and lands on somebody. Located on Criffel Road Parton near the junction with the A595.

Obscured road, 2nd June
The weeds on the grass verge along the A595 at Criffel road junction on Parton are growing too high, you cant see traffic coming up the A595 when you need to pull out of the junction. The junction is bad enough on a clear day without these long weeds obscuring your vision

I see this light frequently night and day. It has not turned off to my knowledge for many months.

Severe Cracking & Hole around Gully Grate and Frame adjacent to ADS type sign, 3rd February
Severe cracking and hole around the gully frame and cover - reaching the running lane in vehicle tracks. Not long before the surface is removed from the hole exposing the sides of the gully frame and cover. Needs cut out and replaced as temporary tar won't provide an effective and safe repair. There is also the similar problem further towards the roundabout (I think the 3rd gully from the sign) which has less cracking but still significant.
