Road flooding, 23rd January
Every time it rains, the road outside Ocean Way, Nethertown floods as there aren't any drains. The water is so deep, at times like this, that it's dangerous to walk through, especially for the elderly, like myself and young children. This makes taking a walk in or after heavy rain impossible. This problem has been happening for years but has been made worse since the run off from new build houses runs down to the village.

Road constantly floods and sits with stagnant muddy water, not possible to walk through, dangerous for children OAPs etc. This is one of the main routes out of the village, 23rd January

Potholes and loose gravel, 31st August
Road is in an awful condition and becoming dangerous. Gravel is loose and there are many deep potholes which means driving up the hill is difficult.

Significant wear and subsidence of the sides of the carriageway at both ends of Coulderton village leaving sections of the single track road removed to a depth of about 15cm. The road is unlit and vehicles or bicycles are potentially at risk. The cause is probably the heavy traffic using the road to supply rock-armour to Network Rail's site at the junction of Nethertown Road and Sea Lane.
Sections of the road passing through Coulderton village are affected as the road enters and leaves the village.
(There are also potentially the same issues on the road between the Network Rail site and Nethertown.)

Pot hole on the road out side Meadow View House, Rothersyke, 3rd November
CYCLIST BEWARE - On the 30/10/2019 a cyclist sustained multiple injuries including a fractured pelvis after riding unsuspectingly into this pothole that is approx. 500mm long x 100mm deep.

The drains and culverts in Coulderton are blocked with debris. This was reported to you in March 2019 and the problem still exists. Properties have been severely flooded in Coulderton as a result of blocked drains 5 times in recent years. The problem requires URGENT attention, 14th June
The drains and culverts in Coulderton used to be cleaned on a monthly contract. This no longer happens and the problem is now critical. This same problem was reported to you in March this year and no action has been taken to clean them. In view of the history of properties being flooding as a result of blocked drains in Coulderton what do we as residents need to do to get some action?
