Deep pothole on corner beside Black Swan Hotel. Barely visible after dark on approach. It has a sheer edge and burst my front driver side tyre even though I was only going a few mph turning right from south-easterly to south-westerly direction with the hotel on my right. A local resident told me it has been there since at least the beginning of December. Photos show scene without flash and two with.

Hole at end of bridge by river, 11th June
At the end of the bridge into Scandel Beck play park is a whole in the ground along the river wall, as you step off the bridge you have very uneven surface where on several occasions people have lost their footing and almost ended up in the river. The ground needs levelling off and possibly the left side of the railings extending to make the entrance to the park safe. When entering the park I always have to stand in this spot to prevent running children falling over.
